The club was formed in the late 1990's when Martin Blackah and a few of his footballing friends saw there was a need to develop footballing opportunities for the youth in and around Tetbury.
Over the next 4 - 6 years the small nucleus of boys & girls between 6 & 16 years having fun and enjoying the game of football has grown. Today there are 8 different youth age groups regularly training at the SWR School playing field.
The progress that has been made has been recognised by the English FA and the club proudly boasts the FA Charter of footballing excellence, one of only a handfull of clubs in the local area, as a mark of recognition to the many FA Approved coaching staff in the club dedicated to promoting the sport in Tetbury.
In 2004 the club saw the formation of a Mens Senior Team and today boasts 2 senior teams, a ladies squad and 7 other teams catering for ages between 6 and 16.
They can be seen playing and training most weekends throughout the year at S W Romney School, Tetbury.
