Avonvale United U7's 8 Minchinhampton U7's 3

This was Vale Under 7's first match and it was a real treat. Both sides played some excellent attacking football and the crowd who gathered at Lowfield Rd could be heard in Tetbury High Street!
The first half saw the lead change hands on three occassions. Vale took the lead through a powerful run from Archie Walsh. However this was cancelled out with Minch scoring two goals in quick succession.
Vale didn't loose heart and regained the lead before half time with goals from Jordan Newman and another from Walsh.

After the break Vale took the initiative with goals from Lorcan Purser a hat trick from Angus Perry and another from Walsh to secure his own hat trick.

A fine display and terrific defending from other squad members Adam Gale, Sholto Millar, James Skeldon and keepers Perry and Sam Jones gave everyone a morning to remember.
